En route halt at Fatehpur Sikri to admire finest example of Mughal architectural splendour. Enjoy elephant ride to go up to the grand Amber Fort like the might emperors in medieval time, in Jaipur. Take a look around at Hawa Mahal that was especially built for Mughal queens to enjoy looking at street festivals while unseen from outsiders. You must also visit the most beautiful City Palace.
Finally arrive at Amritsar to visit the exquisite Golden Temple – a very important Sikh shrine depicting historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh, a well known site for its unfortunate incident on April 13, 1919 when British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed gathering, killing hundreds of people. Later in the evening visit Indo - Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony that takes place everyday religiously. A large number of spectators gather to witness this ultimate sign of spreading peace. The daily highlight of evening is "Beating the Retreat" ceremony where soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill received with thunderous applause.
