WHILE Passing through the picturesque city of Leh, indulge in some sightseeing at the ornate Spituk, Thiksey, and Hemis Monasteries and THEN embark upon your journey towards the rivers. the scenic locations of Kargil and Rangdum you will reach Remala, the starting point of your river rafting expedition. YOUR RIVER RAFTING BEGINS FROM HERE. Crossing To start with Grade II rapids, ideal for beginners, this 30km rafting experience iS going to prep you up for the next leg of challenging grade III and IV rapids in Pidmu, Nyerak, Lamaguru, and Nimu. While traversing through these picturesque locations, you will witness the majestic Zanskar Peak. Hiking is also an important part of this voyage, as you shall be taking the routes less traveled to the exquisite Karsha Gompa and the Alchi Monastery as the trip ends. You will also witness the amazing lives of the locals in the beautiful villages of Pidmu, Hanomil, Kaya and Skiu on your hiking trips. As the trip ends, spend some time seeing the vibrant colors of Leh in its markets and indulge in some souvenir shopping.
