This 13 days Indus Valley Trek tour takes you around the most famous trekking routes located at high altitudes amidst beautiful landscape. The best time to enjoy trekking here is between June – October.
Arrive in Delhi and fly to Leh. Upon arrival in Leh take complete rest for a day which is essential to get adapted to the climate and altitude. The next day begin with amazing sightseeing of this place akin to paradise. Visit the famous monastery built in sixteenth century AD Shey Gompa. It was the abode of Royal families till 1834 AD, located on hillock, provides a mesmerizing panoramic view. Next visit Likir Gompa, a Buddhist monarchy where around 120 monks live together. The fort like structure of the Gompa looks stunning with green fields located at the base. The tranquility of this place is beyond imagination. Next do the most awaited part of this tour, trekking. The adventurous trekking from Likir to Yangthang will strengthen the muscle while soothing nerves with its explicit astounding scenic beauty.
Next day start trekking to Hemis Sukhpachan and visit the Ridzong monastery on the way. This monastery is surrounded by beautiful hills offering breathtaking sights to onlookers. Visit magnificent Alalokitesvara and red temples in Temisgang. The walking from Hemis till Temisgang is magnanimous and admirable trekking location. It’s bound to be the most memorable trekking ever. Next visit the well known Lamayuru and Alchi monasteries that are chiseled out of wood in remarkable baroque style.
After trekking for almost 68 KM amid splendid and mind-boggling sight, return home with the extraordinary experience in the heaven like place.
